Camping in the New Forest

Last weekend was our annual brandlehow camping trip to the new forest, we never thought we could top last years success but this year was even better.... 25 children, 18 adults, 8 tents, 1 campervan, 1 gazebo, lots of ponies.... brilliant weekend!

Sophie and the New Forest Pony making plans for lunch...

Dad hanging out with our resident NFP

After longingly watching the big boys getting around on their bikes someone found a spare bike in their tent, Liam was on cloud nine for the rest of the weekend :)

Making daisy chains, what better way to spend a hot saturday lunchtime......

... while ma and pa enjoy the local pub lunch!

More daisy chains, a production line.

Mum and Zara taking a well earned break in the hot english sunshine :)

Crossing the heath back to the campsite, making way for more NFP's

Dad and Liam partaking in the three legged race (note the two little boys pushed out of contention... Liam is learning the art of competitiveness straight from the horses mouth)

Tug of war - Dad v Kids (kids won)

Tug of war - Mums v Kids (kids won???)

More party games, Dad and Liam partners - a winning combination!

BBQ the New Forest Way..... all smoke and no fire!

We finished off the weekend with sunday lunch (leftovers) at the beach, a great way to finish a great weekend.

Uncle Kevin came to visit

We were so lucky to have uncle kev hang out with us for a couple of weeks in London, Liam really loved hanging out with him and we were quite lucky too because sometimes kev did our school pick up.
He even came to our school concert last friday with Liam and mum.

Before he left we got some group shots with him in the garden, everyone wanted to be in the photo and everyone wanted to take the photo.... so this is the photo mum took!

This is the photo I took!

This is the photo Zara took!

And this is the photo Liam took!!!!

NZ Project

This half term our project was the best place in the world.... I nearly said France but then I remembered NZ and because my good friend and neighbour is also from NZ we decided to do a joint project!

We dressed up in traditional Maori costumes as part of the project.  This term we actually had so much fun doing our homework :)
