Put the tent up one more time

Dad took a couple more days off work so we decided to make the most of it and get the tent out one last time in 2011.... we found a brilliant campsite just out of Henley on Thames and camped down for two days and two nights.

Liam was very keen to help put the tent up...

And when all the hard work was done we spent the next two days in the pool, how lucky were we a pool at the camping ground!

We did get out of the pool long enough for a quick trip in to Henley - last time we were there we were with Nana and Poppa and we had an icecream on the exact same bench, except last time Liam was inside mummys tummy not on her lap!

More Summer Holiday Fun

We still have a couple weeks left in the school holidays so even though mum not feeling very well we are trying to pack in as much as we can before we go back to school....... we hooked up with our friends Tilly and Flicky and caught the train for a day in Brighton

Like every Englishman Liam took his top off as soon as the sun came out :)

A cold sprite on the beach, mmmmm nothing like it.

Its a little tricky to make sand castles on a pebble beach, so we compromised and made sculptures with what we could find

Summer with Nana and Grandad

We were very lucky to have Nana and Grandad with us for a couple of weeks of our school holidays, the time they are with us goes so fast but we always have lots of fun while they are here.

They decided to take us for a picnic and took us to the shop first to choose the picnic food, as you can see we didn't choose the healthiest of snacks but it sure was a memorable picnic :)

After the picnic it was so hot we had to cool off in the paddling pool, with Nora.

At Balliol College in Oxford which is where Grandad's Dad went during the first world war, it was surreal to wander around it.....
