Camping with Nana & Grandad

We usually go away for a family holiday when Nana and Grandad come to visit but this year we threw out all the stops and went camping in the wettest month on record... we put up our tens amongst the puddles and put on our gumboots (wellies) and believe it or not we had a fabulous weekend

Solfrid and Fleur keeping dry inside the tent!
We might be camping but that doesn't mean we have to miss out on the latest sport updates... have iphone won't miss out!

Great times with Nana & Grandad

We have so many wonderful photos of Nana and Grandads most recent trip to the UK but we have summed it up with the following pics. We all love hanging out with them and we always have such a special time when they are here. This time they had TWO babies to meet.... grandad was in his element!

Meeting Maja & Mila on the playmat

Sports Day

This year we embraced the Olympic theme and we were all split in to country teams. Zara and I were in Team NZ (thank goodness) and had to learn and perform Pokarekare Ana, the boys in our team learnt the Haka

At the end of the day Team NZ came 2nd which was an awesome result.

Camping 2012

We had our annual "school camping trip" last weekend and despite the dodgy weather and rain it was another massive success. Even Mila experienced her first camping nights and she survived

Skipping game.... how many kids can skip over one rope

The girls plotting their journey, we spent most of the weekend exploring and mapping out the campsite on our bikes
